Golf School for Business Women

“Golf is more than just a sport. Today, is has become a social and a cultural phenomenon that allows people to get together in the spirit of fun and healthy competition.   While playing golf people develop bonds that have paved the way for some of the biggest deals that shaped the commercial world.”

Part One: Golf 101^*     Date: Friday, July 20^th

Time: 2-6 pm

Choose to play golf or participate in a clinic:

 # 1- Play 9-holes of golf @ 2:00 p.m. (walk or ride)

• Prize holes (longest drive and closest to the pin)
• A minimum of 8 women to register for this option

 # 2- Participate in a truly fun & informative clinic:  Dare we say “Golf for Dummies?”

• Clinic will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Come away with enough skill & knowledge to play in a golf outing
• Bring your own clubs or use ones provided by Honeybrook: wear athletic shoes & dress comfortably
• This clinic will be limited to 20 participants

 After Golf:

From 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. join everyone on the patio for networking and more fun & friendly competition including:

• Wine, beverages and tasty appetizers
• A conversation, with Q&A, on general golf etiquette with specific insight for business relationship building
• How to dress for golf & see some of the latest fashions
• A team putting contest; with prizes!
• Raffle to benefit the WCU Foundation’s MM Power Scholarship Fund
  (Cheques are accepted for the raffle and should be made payable to WCU Foundation). Talk with your tax advisor on tax deductibility.

 Golf Event Fee: only $50. Payment by cash, credit cards or cheque (payable to Honeybrook Golf Club)
